What should I bring with me?
Vietnam has plenty of baby stores so if you need supplies of nappies or formula, head to any of Con Cung Branches.
However, do bring kids panadol, nurofen and other specific medicines your kids need. Mosquito repellent is more effective and gentle on skin if it's made in Australia.
Prams or Carriers?
Baby holders or carriers are more practical here as there are not many footpaths for pram in the major city. You can rent a pram from us if needed.
Should I bring car seat?
Car seats are required to travel with cars from July 2026. however, all taxis and Grab will require to carry baby seats. For now, kids can ride with parents without car seats.

Check to see if you require a visa. All Australians require a visa to enter Vietnam. Please apply for your visa at least 2-3 weeks before you travel date. Add buffer 1 week before you arrive and at least 2 weeks after the date you intend to leave as they will give you the exact date you apply for. A lot of people get caught for overstaying their visa and have to pay fines at the airport (eg: flight delayed, sickness etc...)
The official website to apply for Vietnamese visa is: https://evisa.gov.vn/ . Most of other website is either scam or charges for more than they should. They won't email you once your visa get approved. Please go to the portal and check for the visa.
